Review: TEMPTATIONS OF ANNA JACOBS: A DANGEROUS LIAISONS NOVEL BY ROBYN DeHART

Love and justice…

When Drew Foster is released from prison, he doesn't much care about salvaging his soiled reputation. Though he's working undercover, everyone in Victorian London believes him guilty of the Jack the Ripper murders and that his brother paid for his "innocence."

Despite her genteel upbringing, Anna Jacobs is intent on finishing medical school and becoming a physician. Society's ridicule has never bothered her, but when her brother, the Yard's best detective, is scorned for letting Drew go, she confronts the one man who can set the record straight at a ball. She certainly doesn't count on the rogue being dashing and handsome, nor on him stealing a passionate kiss.

Anna's brazen contempt for his dangerous reputation captivates Drew, but he is harboring secrets that make him unfit to court any proper woman. As he finds himself an outsider among his colleagues at Scotland Yard, the feisty beauty offers up her medical knowledge to assist him on the case. But when the real killer returns to London to continue his reign of terror, can Anna find safety in Drew's arms?

TEMPTATIONS OF ANNA JACOBS: A DANGEROUS LIAISONS NOVEL
WRITTEN BY: ROBYN DeHART
REVIEWED BY: APRIL EPLEY

This is a good book and I truly enjoyed it! This is book 2 in this series. I am looking forward to reading the next in the series as soon as it comes out. This book is full of suspense, history, romance, and a bit of fear. What a unique take on the Jack the Ripper history. I am giving this book 4 solid stars and hoping that after the next I can give the series 5. We will see what happens.
Drew Foster has just been released. Even though he was in for something he was innocent of, others do not always see the truth. I really like Drew and the fact that he takes on a greater purpose with helping try to solve this case. His friend, Simon, is the reason that Drew meets Anna. Drew gets hurt and Simon rushes him to Anna, who is studying to be a doctor.
I really enjoyed Anna. She is a smart girl and could care less what others thought of her studies and aspirations. She is so great for Drew. The chemistry between Drew and Anna is wonderful. I really think the darker nature of this book was great. There are many secrets hidden throughout this story….. Will her feelings change when the skeletons come out of the closet? You will have to read it to find out.

I am looking forward to the next book in this series! There are so many questions still. I love Anna and Drew and think they are so sweet together. I enjoyed seeing Drew turn himself around so much! Thank you and I am excited for the next!
