Let me start off with, this is a hot,
awesome read and I loved it. This is for 18+ only please due to sexual content.
I planned on reading a little here and there. This book sucked me in and after
saying to myself, Okay just one more chapter, before I knew it I had finished
the whole book. This book goes back and forth between two POVs. I loved it as
it helped me to understand what the other was thinking.
Ivy and Xander go to school together. They
are a wonderful couple with big dreams of making it out of LA. They are in a
band together and Ivy has the voice of a goddess. Xander can play guitar like a
madman. They both are battling family issues. Ivy has a mother who wants her to
be an actress and is overbearing and overprotective. Ivy realizes that for her
mother it is all about the money. Xander has other family demons to deal with.
All the chaos threw their plans off course. Things did not happen as expected.
Fast forward 12 years. Xander is managing
an awesome band. There are some health issues with the lead singer and wow who
could have imagined he would run into Ivy after all these years. Due to
situations on both sides, Ivy joins up with the band. What is going to happen
now? Can they both keep their feelings for each other in check? Where will they
end up? You will have to read it to find out!
I am giving this book 5 stars. It kept me
enthralled from the beginning and did not let me have a break. I loved it! Keep
up the wonderful work Kim Karr! Please do yourself a favor and check out this
awesome read! You will not regret it.
