This is the first book I have ever read by Maya Banks. I must say, I am glad I picked it up! Makes me wonder what other gems of hers I’ve been missing out on.

This story is all about letting go of the past and moving forward with to the future. For Josslyn it means letting go of the untimely death of her husband, and for Dash it is finally being able to go after the one girl he has craved above any other his entire life, his best friends wife.

Joss never expected to find the one thing that she was missing from her marriage, in her late husbands best friend. A Dominant Alpha, to her oh so very deprived submissive self. She is very hesitant to move forward with what Dash has proposistioned her with, a Dom to her Sub, for fear of losing what they have forever, a best friend!

Maya Banks has pulled me in from the very beginning and had held my interest the entire time. Will Joss and Dash find what she never thought she ever find again, true love, or will their friendship that has stood the test of time not be able to sustain the affects of the choices they’ve made???
