When an intimate video goes public, Molly's internship and credibility is threatened. She's lusts for the one man she's been able to connect with after the sudden death of her late fiancĂ©—but can Drake hold on for the emotional ride? Kitchen Affairs Review:~by Shelly

This book was alright.  Not good, not bad, just mediocre.  I think that Molly character is very strong, but not very deep.  Drake is deep, but not very strong.  I love Molly's interactions with Stella and her BFF Michael, but her relationship with Drake was very rushed.

Enter Travis, this is why I say her relationship with Drake was rushed.  She has feelings of some sort for Travis, and if she was truly in love with Drake she wouldn't have questions concerning Travis.

Kendra dying before she could really even interfere with Molly and Drake much kinda was a buzz kill.  I was hoping for a little more drama there, but didn't get it.

My thoughts are I give Brooke 2 thumbs up for this being her debut novel, and for her first book, it was decent.  Im hoping that Kitchen Scandals will be better, and her first stand alone, Spark, has some good reviews, so I'll let you all know my thoughts on that soon.

She finally found the one…
but he has a hidden secret. Could this be the breaking point for Molly?
Has she endured too much?
Drake and Molly had instant chemistry in Kitchen Affairs, but when secrets go all wrong, their relationship will be tested, feelings get hurt, and limits will be reached.
Someone interferes with their relationship, keeping them distant and longing for answers in all the wrong places. Some people are not who they seem…leaving a betrayal of lies crashing down on them.
Can they recover their once intense, sensual chemistry? Will love be enough?
Secrets, betrayals, and scandals…
Chicago's hottest couple, Molly & Drake, go through big changes, hidden secrets, and tragedies.

Kitchen Scandals Review: ~by Shelly

This book was so much better than the first book.  Molly and Drake's characters developed so much thru this book.

There were a lot of big surprises thrown into this book.  First off, Drake a daddy!!  Oh, and lets not forget the fact that he KNEW this before he even met Molly, and after a year, still haven't found time to tell her until he was forced too!  That led to some turmoil, but as always Molly was very forgiving.

Now, enter Molly's stalker, and her admirer!  Nikos is not only her superior, but he his hopelessly in love with her! (remind you of anyone, cough....Travis...).  He is not very forthcoming about his affections, but Drake sees what Molly doesn't.

There is a stalker.  We don't know who it is, or wether they are stalking Molly or Drake, but they are not friendly.  They leave messages that Molly is too good for Drake, that Drake doesn't deserve Molly, plants items in their home to stir up trouble, and so on.  Molly has her idea who it may be, and Drake has his ideas.  Turns out they are both wrong!

I don't want to let the cat out of the bag on who is at fault,  but there is a good amount of drama, and suspense in this story, and lots of hot steamy parts!!  Makes for a good read.  Brooke has done a lot better job her second time around!!

Nothing ever comes easy for Molly Woods.
Faced with past fears, heartache, & limits…
Can she make promises to the one man she can’t get enough of? Can she promise him forever…?
With new obstacles, Molly must make a decision.
Drake Stagliano always gets what he wants.
But with a new threat, how far will he go to make sure Molly is his forever?
When new secrets are revealed, Drake must take matters into his own hands.
Can they make forever happen? Or will promises be made that can’t be kept…?

Kitchen Promises Review:  ~by Shelly

This was the perfect ending to the Riverside Trilogy.  Brooke out done herself yet again.  You can't help but fall head over heals for Mr. Drake Stagliano!!

I really love how Molly and Drakes relationship has grown over the trilogy, even with all the obstacles in the way.  This book cleared up a lot of lose ends, and had its share of angst and  drama, love and lust, that makes all Romance genre books great!!

I am so happy that this ended as a HEA!  It could have gone in a completely different direction and I'm glad that it didn't happen that way!

You rocked the Riverside trilogy Brooke!!  Look forward to reading more from this great author!!
