     Let me say I really liked this book.  Lily is awesome and Drew is as sexy as can be. He is quite a gentleman when he chooses to be also. Swoon….sigh…

     I don’t want to give anything away so I will try hard not to.  I love the amount of love that Drew has for his mother!  He is wonderful and so very sexy! Did I say that already? Oh well he is. Brandy is all out insane and throws some wrenches in the works.  I loved that Lily is strong enough to keep it all together.  Throw Sierra in and what a great read.  I am glad that Lily had Sierra as a business partner and friend.

     I am giving this book 4 strong stars.  I will look forward to much more by this author.  This was a great quick read for me as it kept me very entertained.  Wonderful book for a cold snowy day!  Thank you.

WITH THIS RING (WEDDING DREAMS BK1)

     This was a quick and easy read.  18+ readers only please.  This was a great start to what looks to be a promising series.  This book alternates between two POVs.

     I liked this introduction to Lily.  She is a 32 year old wedding planner and owns/runs Wedding Dreams with her partner Sierra.  Never married Lily is always a cynic to herself quietly and happy and outgoing on the outside.  She gives brides the weddings they want and love.

     Then there is Drew.  Handsome and wonderful, he is a lawyer with a great life.  He has no wants for a serious relationship or family.

     I am giving this book 4 stars.  I really liked this quick introduction and it grabs you from the start.  Buyer beware, Grab book 2 while you are at it.  You are going to want it to see what is happening next.

  My favorite quote was from Andrew:

“…What I really want to do is take out an ad in the morning paper that says ‘Congratulations on Dodging that Bullet’ but that would be a dick move, so…”

Excerpt 

When I reach my room, I stop short at one of the most beautiful sights I’ve ever seen.

Lily is curled up on my bed, her hair splayed out on the pillow, and she’s sleeping. She looks so peaceful and content; my dick twitches at the thought of burying myself inside her. My heart rate speeds up and I realize I really like this view. I want to have it view every day. Fuck. There go my plans to keep things simple. I’m falling in love with Lily. I didn’t see that coming, but I kind of like the idea. As I change my clothes, I wonder how this woman got under my skin so quickly.


I know I should let her sleep, but I have to touch her to figure out if what I’m feeling is real, if I want to put my heart on the line again and risk it being crushed. I climb carefully on the bed and she rolls toward me, but doesn’t open her eyes. I brush a few strands of hair away from her face and she smiles. That smile pushes me over the edge. I know I want this woman in my life, and I’m going to do what I can to keep her. It’s a foreign feeling, one I’ve fought for years, but it feels right. I pull her into my arms. She makes a small moaning sound and curls into me. She’s soft where I’m hard and we fit together like we were made for each other. I relax and get lost in the rhythm of her breathing. Soon, I’m dozing, too.
