     What a wonderful story! I just loved it. Multiple POVs were awesome.

     A banking crisis brought civilization to an end. People live in compounds. The groups are ‘tribes’. So starts the story and background about how and why.

     Deetina Richards loves with all her heart. She cares for everyone! She is loyal and fiercely so. I loved Deeta. When Deeta was still a small child, Uncle Jep brought a young teen home. His name was Tomasz. He grew with the tribe and headed up the guard. He also occasionally brought home orphaned little ones. This landed Uncle Jep and Tom with 5 little ones of varying ages. Deeta gladly helped with them all the time. Hence, all the children called her Auntie Deety.

     When tragedy strikes, Deeta and her sister Jan are taken prisoner by the Andrak Tribe. With chaos happening all around secrets come out. Deeta and Jan end up in the middle of political intrigue. Will their lives be spared? Where is Tom and can he save them? Is the rest of their tribe safe? You will have to read this amazing story to find out.

     I am giving this story 5 awesome stars. I loved it and am looking forward to starting the next book by this author. I loved Ryder, Tom, and the rest of the characters. Well except for Jimmy but you will have to read it to find out why. Toms protectiveness and love amazes me. Do yourself a favor and check out this wonderful story. No cliffhangers to worry about. Hi everyone! My name is Dee Dee, I’m twenty six and I live in a beautiful part of Devon, England with my family. I have a younger sister, Amy who is a brilliant guitar player, some chickens, duck, geese, pheasants, a cat (that adopted us when we moved in!!!) and some Koi.

Broken City is actually my second novel. My first, as my Aunt so delicately put it, was crazy. In my defence I was only sixteen when I wrote it. On the plus side I learnt a lot (or so I hope) and two years later ‘Broken City’ was finished. Due to the support I have received from readers I have just finished the next book in the Broken City series, Broken Truce!

I have another book, ‘The Promise’, which is set in Saxon England is the beginning of a series. I’ve just begun to edit the next book and I’m really looking forward to releasing it. My third series is called The Chronicles of Discord. The first book, 'Fracture', is set in the distant future and tells the story of Astra, a young woman with a very big secret.

I have just finished the second book in the series and it’s currently awaiting editing. I really hope you enjoy reading my books as much as I enjoy writing them.

I love reading and have a kindle: I read almost anything with adventure and romance in it! I also like to cook and wear impractical high heels!!! And as you might have noticed I have a horrible addiction to exclamation marks!!!
