I rate Cherished 5 stars!

Kelly Elliott, you did it again!  The Epilogue of Faithful, had me in tears….TEARS girl!!!  Jessie and Scott have been meant to be since they were kids!!!  I can't tell you how much I was looking forward to reading Cherished just to see if you were seriously gonna great my heart, or if things really weren't as they appeared.  Kelly you did both!!

Scott and Jessie's love story started out in Faithful.  They have been in love with each other since they were young.  Scott was afraid of the strength of these feelings and did what any teenager in his situation would do, run away into another woman's arms!  Well that sealed it for Jessie, she swore Scott Reynolds would never hurt her again. And when she caught "him" in bed with his ex, Chelsea, at the end of Faithful, that was it for her, and she took a page out of Scott's book and ran away, to Belize of all places!!

Scott had no clue where he was or what had happened that next morning, but as the day went on he knew two things, Jessie was gone, and it was all his Brother Bryce's fault!  She left with no word to anyone, including her brothers or her father!  Scott felt his life was over.

Jessie spent her time in Belize, trying to "get over" Scott.  LIttle did she know she would meet a man that understood what she was going thru, and not only befriend him but develop feelings.  These feelings have haunted both her and Scott, thru the book.

Cherished is filled with love and lust, drama and angst, and all of the components that make for an incredible love story.  We got to see into the lives of our other Wanted characters as well.  The love that these characters have for each other is so deep and selfless.  What effected me the most about Cherished and the Wanted series in general ‪, is that family isn't just people you share blood and genes with, they are the people who have a positive influence in your life, and will go to the ends of the earth for you. Their love is unconditional and forever. They accept you for who you are and will never judge you, even if you make terrible decisions. The men and women of the Wanted Series has shown me that this is something that needs to be cherished and not taken for granted! Thank you Kelly for bringing these characters into my life, and for being the amazing woman you are. I am proud to call you my friend!

I also want to address that I have been #TEAMJOSH since Wanted, and absolutely heart the man, however….LARK WILLIAMS….OMG Kelly, you gave Josh a run for my affection!!!  I CANNOT WAIT, to learn more about him and Azurdee and see where his story takes him!!  Please do yourself a favor and read the Wanted Series by Kelly Elliott, if you haven't yet, and fall in love with your cowboy like I have!!

“Where’s Jessie?” I asked as I looked at Drake.

He ran his hand through his hair and waved for one of the boys to come over. Aaron walked up to me and gave me a dirty look as he handed me a piece of paper. It took me a few minutes to focus on the paper, but once I did, I felt my legs slowly about to give out. Gunner and Aaron both reached out and grabbed me before I fell.

“What does she mean…she’s leaving? Where in the hell is she? Why in the hell does she say I’m cheating? I’m not cheating! I just bought her an engagement ring. I was going to come talk to you today, Drake, about asking her to marry me.”

Dewey started laughing. “Is that right?”

I shot my head up and looked at him as I reached into my pocket and pulled out the ring. I opened it up. “I’ve been carrying it around with me the last few days. I was going to ask her at my parents’ anniversary party.” I started shaking my head. “I don’t understand. Why would she think I’m cheating?” I glanced up at Gunner with tears in my eyes. “Gunner, I swear to God, I’ve never been unfaithful to her. I would never hurt her. I love her more than anyone. She’s my whole goddamn life.”

Gunner hit my back as he guided me into his house. “I know, Scott, I know.”

“Well, well, well, Mr. Marin. I think you’ve done really well tonight. You’ve even made up for behaving like a savage when you first arrived.”

“I knew you’d approve.”

I handed the dessert to her, and I went to reach for my fork. She greedily tucked the box toward her chest.

“You’re not going to share with me?” I teased.

“Rick, this is chocolate pudding cake from Prime One Twelve. It’s my weakness.”

“I see that I’ve found your kryptonite, but since I don’t want you to have any regrets in the morning, I’ll help you eat it.”

I reached over and sliced a corner with my fork before lifting it to her mouth. I watched as her eyes followed the fork. She opened her mouth for me and slowly closed her eyes.

Fuck, my dick’s getting hard.

She wrapped her lips around the fork and slowly slid the morsel off, moaning softly. She opened her eyes after she swallowed that first piece of decadence and said, “Oh. My. God. That’s divine. Thank you.”
